Dr. Eric Sipe

Senior Pastor

Eric began his ministry at Calvary in July of 2010. He and his wife, Cindy, have been involved in church planting, missions, music ministry, evangelism, and pastoral work. His greatest love is to make disciples by following the pattern that Christ Himself gave in the Gospels. He seeks to preach God's Word from a heart that loves God, loves people, and desires to see them grow in grace and knowledge of Christ. He graduated in May 2023 with a Doctorate in Expository Preaching from The Master’s Seminary. Eric and Cindy have three married children and eleven grandchildren. Carissa is the wife of Todd Davis and mother to their five children. After planting a church and faithfully shepherding there for 9 years, they are pursuing a church planting ministry in Marseille, France. Quentin is married to Brittany. He enjoys a job as a systems manager for a large corporation. Their family is part of a church plant of CBC where he serves as the Worship Leader. Hunter is married to Nikki, and he pastors the church plant called Good Shepherd Bible Church in Blacklick, Ohio.

Dr. Chazz Anderson

Associate Pastor

Chazz joined staff at Calvary Bible Church as Associate Pastor in 2022. A native of Central Ohio, he especially enjoys ministering to our college students and singles at CBC. Chazz champions Christ in all things; he came to Christ in college and since then has had a passion for ministry. After finishing a B.A. in Communications at University of Cincinnati, He went on to complete an M.Div. at The Master’s Seminary in 2015 along with a Th.M. in Old Testament a few years later. He and his high school sweetheart, Chelsea, were married in 2012 and have three children: Charlea, Charity, and Chayden.

Dr. HEnry Cruz

Associate Pastor & Pastor of IBSJColumbus

Henry was born and raised in Chicago and grew up in a Christian home. As a result, he has always loved God's people and has always loved being a part of the local church. Henry met his wife Maria at church, and they got married in 2012. They have four children: Azari, Zeth, Zyon, and Zakh. For the past 19 years, Henry served in a church in Cicero, IL, eventually serving as a youth pastor and associate pastor. However, in November of 2023, the Lord called him to Columbus, Ohio, and he officially began pastoring the church Iglesia Bíblica del Salvador Jesucristo on August 11, 2024. Henry graduated with an M. Div. degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) in 2019 and then graduated with a D. Min. degree from The Master's Seminary in 2023.

Jeff Peterson

Executive Director

Jeff has been a member of CBC since 1995 and has served as an elder, Family Bible Class teacher, and participant in the music ministry. Jeff studied Mathematics in college and grad school. After completing 25 years in the corporate world, he has recently taken on the role of Executive Director for Calvary Bible Church and Northside Christian School. Jeff also helps lead operations for Lifewise Academy, a ministry that provides religious instruction to public school kids. Jeff is married to Jane and has 3 children.
